3rd Annual International Taste of Port Jefferson
Once again the Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 3rd Annual International Taste of Port Jefferson. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 16th between the hours of 12 noon and 4:00 pm at the PortJefferson Village Center. This successful venue lends itself for this popular event with the beautiful back-drop of Port Jefferson Harbor.
As in the past the first floor of the center will have all our dessert vendors leaving the third floor as the “food court”. Many local restaurants and cafes will be participating with an added new feature, a wine tent which will be set-up outside on the eastern side of the center in their parking lot. Here attendees will be able to taste many different wines including some of Long Island’s best. There will also be some wine vendors sprinkled among the food court as well.
Another innovated element to the event is a book signing from a local top chef. Be surprised and get your book personally signed by this accomplished and flourishing chef.
And to help your palate there will be a live quartet performing in the background provided by Stony Brook University, so that your dining experience will be complete.
To help promote this event the Chamber has created a specific website www.atasteofportjefferson.com. This site will serve as additional publicity and will allow our sponsors the opportunity to advertise their business. The Chamber will also be using the social network of Face-book and their own website calendar of events to help advertise this special day.
