About the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce

MISSION STATEMENT

The Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization whose function is making Port Jefferson Village a better place to live and to conduct business. It accomplishes this goal by encouraging, fostering and stimulating commerce, trade and business finance, as well as promoting the cooperation and friendly exchange between its members and the community at large.

MONTHLY MEETINGS

The Chamber holds monthly meetings (4th Tuesday of the month) at member businesses as a venue for networking, education about relevant business concerns and updates on area happenings.

ANNUAL EVENTS

Every year, the Chamber organizes and presents a number of events to enhance the community as a whole and provide ways in which our members can be involved. These events include:

4th of July Parade (which is organized and sponsored by the Port Jeff Fire Department)
American Music Festival
Weekly Farmer's Market (Summer into Fall)
Visit by Santa & Holiday Tree Lightings
